Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide and is one of the skin composition elements. Molecules of hyaluronic acid have various properties, one of which is the ability to retain moisture volume. The important role of hyaluronic acid is in regulation of migration and differentiation of cells. Over time, the quantity of hyaluronic acid, in the skin is reduced, resulting in a deterioration of the skin’s functions. Hyaluronic acid is used as a natural moisturizer. The solution of hyaluronic acid is applied to all surfaces of the skin, forming a light pellicle, which actively captures moisture from the air and promotes an increase of free water in the epidermis, forming "additional humidity", thereby lowering the evaporation of water from the skin.

Recommendations:Hyaluronic acid is used as a hydrate agent. In contrast to many biologically active substances, hyaluronic acid shows the valuable properties at rather low concentration (0, 01-0, 1 %). For maximum effect it is recommended to increase its contents up to 0,5%. Hyaluronic acid can be applied to the skin as a mask (a tissue impregnated with an active component: 2 ml. of Hyaluronic acid and 18 ml of distilled water). The mask is recommended for dry skin and is applied for 10-15 minutes. Then the tissue is removed apply the cream containing hyaluronic acid (Plazan Gold, Diamond or Timeless series cream).
Special cream masks can be prepared, adding 1 ml of Hyaluronic acid solution with 5 gram of moisturising cream. After application and massaging in to the skin, leave the mask for 5-10 minutes, then remove with a dry tissue.
These masks are recommended for all skin types. The efficiency of hyaluronic acid increases when combined with electronic surgery, introducing the active components into the skin via (electrophoresis - hyaluronic acid has a negative charge, and ultrasonic processes) these both increase the penetration of molecules into the deepest layers of skin.
