What to look out for:
- When considering (FRA) make certain that the Acupuncturist you deal with has a qualified background and formal training in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. They should spend time before your first treatment, giving you a diagnostic of your general health, backed by questions relating to your medical history and a full explanation of how the treatment works.
- Needless to say that you wouldn’t consider undergoing surgery with someone who had never heald a scalpel, so check out the Acupuncturists credentials first.
Be cautious of:
- Inflated promises of BREATHTAKING results.
- Astronomic costs of treatment.
- Expecting instant results.
What you should expect:
- Some clients witness a visible improvement after their very first session, it all depends on the individual but usually after the 6 treatments, improved skin tone/texture and a general ‘well being’ feeling will be evident.
- During your treatment you should feel extremely relaxed with many clients falling fast asleep, sometimes snoring. (insomniacs should try it – LOOK GREAT-SLEEP WELL).
- After the needles have been removed (20-30 minutes) your therapist should provide you with a facial massage.
- Finally we suggest that you complete your session by sitting for 5 to 10 minutes and drink water, this helps you to ‘come round’.
Case note:
A regular client of ours was about to throw a massive 50th Birthday Celebration and obviously wanted to look her best. She embarked on a six week intensive course with us. The result – she looked fantastic with so many friends saying ‘Wow you look great’. Sadly after a week long binge of booze, food and lack of sleep, all our work was undone. We now have her back to her best but the moral here is – don’t expect Acupuncture to cover up lifes excesses as the body will always show signs of abuse in the face.
